Flossmire
Book II - Flossmire

A one color, fully illustrated short story, activity book, and journal. Flossmire, the second book in the Great Lakes Series, is the engaging story of Juan and Maurice, two junior high boys living in a shabby industrial town. As young mechanics, they fix up an old golf cart which, it turns out, has some magical qualities. These same qualities allow the boys to travel fearlessly through the gang infested parts of Flossmire that they usually avoid. Soon, however, conflict with the gang arises, and they must make a decision to either stand firm or slink away from danger. A great book for the spatial learner, Flossmire has lessons in wisdom, prudence, friendship, and courage.

Following the story are 6 activities designed to inspire the spatial learner and a hefty number of blank pages for a young person to draw, create, and sketch their inventions.

Flossmire is based around the spatial learning style (the inventor, the artist, the cartoonist, the photographer, the mechanical wizard, the designer, the visualizer or daydreamer, the map maker). Click here for more information about the Spatial Learning style.

Each book is a rivit bound, flow-molded journal that can be rolled up like a scroll. Each book comes with a blue Sharpie marker. Over all dimensions are 9" x 12"
